I feel like a kid again, growing up in the 80's riding anywhere anytime without a worry !!
Bought this bike as my main form of transportation, it has excelled at everything I have put in front of it. On and off road. I live in Flagstaff AZ and the hills are some of the steepest I have ever encountered and it conquers them like they are not even there. I have had it 3 weeks and put over 400miles on it and it still performs like the day I bought it. On full throttle and PAS 6 I can easily get 30miles out of one charge. Would and do recommend to anyone who's interested in an E bike. Will probably upgrade to a Peak when I need a new one but I don't see that being anytime soon. Only complaint I have is I have been unable to get fenders for it through either the dealer or the website.
The Magnum Summit is a great bike. I have over 600 miles on it for the short time I have owned it. No issues at all. Everything just works as it should. Battery has plenty of life in it for those long rides. There have been plenty of times I just used the throttle to get me back to my vehicle after I was worn out after a long ride. The bike outlasts me. I have recommended Magnum to everyone who seems interested in getting a E bike. Their prices are just right for the normal "working person". Sure you can buy more expensive bikes, but for the average Joe or Mary who just wants some exercise, a Magnum bike will fill all your needs without emptying your bank account. If your undecided, just get the Magnum. You will not be disappointed that you did.

Hey John,
What an amazing memory. Thank you for sharing! Oh the places you can go on a Magnum e-bike. Happy Riding!
I bought a Magnum Summit a few months ago. I purchased it because it was in my budget. Now I wouldn't trade it for the more expensive bikes like my friends have. I have riden it almost 500 miles and I love it. Several of my friends prefer my bike over others they have riden. With the assist set on "1", I can count on about 35-40 miles. The power it gives me on steep hills is amazing. I never really lusted after an E-bike until I bought this Summit 27.5" Magnum. Now I can't imagine not having it. The perfect addition for me was a pair of BLUETOOTH ear buds, allowing me to listen to my favorite music while I peddle. The surprise is how many miles and miles of bike/walk trails in Utah, allowing me to ride in safe zones. I love E-bikin' !!!

Our adult son is really happy with this bike, and plans to use it for his commute. He said the replacement battery is working, and the bike is performing well. Customer Service was very helpful in getting this bike going for him.
I was very exited about my E bike. I had for a year and a half when suddenly system start shutting down after five minutes of use. Battery Full Charge. I had issues with the battery so I called tech-support. Sadly tips from tech support did not work . They told me that they battery was out of stock and that it will take some time for it to get being in stock. Eight months after that I finally received a call saying that the battery was in stock and that it would cost me $600 bucks. Now bike is 40% off. Very disappointed about the customer and technical service and such a bad warranty and reliability of this $2500 bike. Recommendation: Do not get one !!! Get one that has better parts support and reliability.
This is the second Magnum Summit 27.5 MB I have purchased. I bought my 1st Magnum Summit 27.5 MB almost 4 years ago and put 1300 hard mountain bike trail miles on it. It was time for a new bike, so I just bought the same one.
Bike on PAS 6 nothing but throttle- can’t even go 20 miles…. Idk where they get 50 miles on the site at or even 25 minimum… I can’t get 22 outta it even with pedaling… does not hit 28 mph pedaling either- lots of lies
I’m 6’2” 240lbs, and ride my Magnum hard everyday 20mls. It’s extremely well built and 100% reliable. I made a few changes for speed, such as 1” wide slick road tires etc. just personal preferences. I recommend these bikes to anyone, and have done so on several occasions.
I Love the bike , was a little disappointed with their stock bell and reflectors, one fell off when I got it home . For the price I would expect better quality factory parts . The bike ride great , I love the brakes and the pedal assist.
Power & Range... I love this bike. Ive ridden other brands that were crank motor driven (Trek and Bulls) and this is by far the most efficient and intuitive of them. There seems to be so much more power on the hub style motor. I get amazing range (40 miles +) when riding on lower power assist levels. You can turn the assist down, and still have a great workout, and the mountain bike feel. When you are worn out, turn it up and cruise back with ease. Ive ridden about 400 miles on it so far, with no issues whatsoever. Great value for the money. I wouldnt trade it for any of the higher end (priced) models I tried yet.
Perfect for windy Wellington nz... Bought one in Wellington NZ, those breezes dont come softly from any direction, the magnum Metro + handled some of the seasons worst winds Ive ever encountered, ever, enough to stop you flat, it was working for its money I must say, thats 10000ks and still pumping just as hard. Love these machines and if anyone tries to tell you rear hubs don't climb good, just laugh&take their money.
Great so far...... The bike is very powerful! You can feel the torque of the 500w motor when you hit the throttle or peddle assist. It is very comfortable as well. Is sits more upright than I wouldve thought for a mountain bike but I did adjust the handle bars down and forward slightly. They display is bright and intuitive. I will be commuting with this to work 20 miles each way, plus doing some off-roading. The 27.5 Mi5 we have has held up nicely when riding mtn bike trails so Im hoping for the same with this model. Purchasing the bike directly from Magnum was my only option since local shop out of stock and it was a breeze. They worked with me on the price a bit and had company install for free locally. Good business so far. Hope the trend continues...
